The disruption was due to a scheduled server maintenance that ran into unforeseen complications with our Google Cloud partner and inability to correct certain problems until we heard back from our provider. While this caused a few days of interruption — and we sincerely apologize for that — it was part of a larger infrastructure upgrade designed to serve you better. While most sites and all infrastructure was up and running within our planned schedule and expected timeframe, users with custom domains took much longer than we anticipated due to unforeseen circumstances.

All affected sites should be up and running smoothly now.
That maintenance now allows Launch Cart to scale server resources faster and more efficiently than ever before. This means improved speed, increased reliability, and better performance for your store — even during high-traffic spikes.
Additionally, we’ll soon be rolling out a new DNS update option for all users with custom domains. This will allow you to take full advantage of our upgraded system and improved global delivery.
We’re committed to giving you the best eCommerce experience possible, and while this recent hiccup was far from ideal, it’s helped pave the way for a stronger, faster, and more scalable platform.
For those of you utilizing custom domains, a new notification will show up in your Launch Cart Ecom dashboard inviting you to update your DNS with easy to follow instructions later this week.
